Tasks

• Transferring print stories to web. This involves scraping text from InDesign CC 2014 files (or less ideally, PDFs or IDML files for older versions of InDesign), but also requires some smart rewriting of headlines, subtitles, etc, to help content do better with search engines and live out of its original context. Attach images to the stories; sometimes needing to resize them first. Minor opportunities for design judgment, but all within WordPress templates.
• Posting web-only stories. Resize the images and build the post. Occasionally help sourcing relevant images with Creative Commons licenses.
